🌱Forest Therapy Day + Drum Circle (Just Love Forest)

Hello mystics! We are cross-posting this collaboration with our friends at Just Love Forest in Lyerly, GA.

We ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend this serene retreat space to anyone who finds they are overwhelmed by the pace of city life. If you've been feeling an intuitive nudge to slow down and commune with nature and like-minded community, this special day of service may be a salve for your soul.

This special weekend offers a serene retreat to enjoy the peak fall colors in the forest and participate in a service project. Whether you're interested in learning about solar site planning or getting involved in an old-school yurt floor finish, there’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and lend a hand!

Around dinnertime we'll share a plant-based potluck with like-minded community, then gather under the stars and around the campfire for a drum circle to celebrate rhythm, music, and the spirit of the forest.

DUE TO THE PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF THE PROPERTY, THE LOCKING GATE, AND LIMITED CELL PHONE RECEPTION IN THE FOREST -- PLEASE ONLY ATTEND IF YOU CAN ARRIVE AT 10:30AM WITH EVERYONE ELSE AND STAY THE ENTIRE DAY

Arrive: 10:00-10:30am
Depart: 10pm (or stay overnight)

Accomadations:
$50 to stay overnight in one of their cozy tents with a memory foam mattress (double occupancy)

Meeting location:
1782 Old Holland Rd, Lyerly, GA 30730

• Everyone arrives together and is guided into the property by the owner at 10:30am
• No one can arrive later than 12pm (noon) in the case of traffic or delays
• Unfortunately, in the past, people have tried to come only for the drum circle and it was too dark to navigate or they could not reach us to be let into the locked gate

What To Bring:

• Wear layers
• Shoes with good tread
• Sunscreen
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Drum or percussion instrument
• Water bottle
• Snacks
• Food to contribute to plant-based potluck!
