Weiqi / Go is one of the oldest board games, evolved thousands of years ago from war strategies in ancient China. It has very simple rules, yet the combination of black and white stones makes near infinite variations on a 19x19 board. With its elegance and incredible complexity, it is considered an art form as much as a game. The game is most popular in East Asia, with a growing community of zealous players in the U.S. and other parts of the world.

The Atlanta Go Club is hosting a regular meetup for anyone interested in Go to play and learn together. Join us to learn a new game (or improve your skills), exercise your brain, and meet new friends! No prior experience or equipment required (though if you have a board or stones and can bring them, it will be much appreciated).
