Enjoy a yoga session for vitality and youthfulness. A perfect morning routine to start the week end - fresh and positive!
THE PRACTICE
This session is designed to restore body & mind balance, invigorate your energy systems, awaken digestion and increase mobility which will accommodate the free flow of breath and natural curve of the spine.
HOW WILL THE SESSION UNFOLD
We start off with some stretching warm ups (sun salutations) that brings heat into the joints and promotes optimal energy flow, opening the nerve channels to receive morning life force.
Special emphasis is placed on standing poses that strengthens the ligaments and tone the muscles. Proper spinal alignment is stressed, while safe backbends are introduced to energise the body and induce a radiant and positive mood.
Furthermore, spinal twists are interspersed throughout the practice to boost the morning detoxification processes in the body.
The practice ends with a relaxation/breathwork/meditation to quiet the mind, foster acceptance and remind ourselves that we are firmly rooted in the present moment.
DETAILS
-This event will be held at the botanical garden every Sunday at 8.30am in front of eco lake.
-You will need to bring your own yoga mat
-Incase of bad weather conditions the class will be postpone to a future date and a broadcast notice will be sent to all by 7am on Sunday morning.
