Cartoonists Unite: Monthly Prep Session for The New Yorker Submissions
Details
Have you ever dreamed of seeing one of your comics in The New Yorker (or another similar publication)? Me too!
Hey y’all! I’m Alexa - a local artist who regularly draws cartoons for fun, but until now, I haven't actively set or pursued my goals as a cartoonist or sought a community that shares this passion. After speaking with several New Yorker cartoonists—my favorite platform for comic art—and beginning to submit my own work, I’ve realized I'm ready for a change. Working alone isn’t as rewarding as being part of a group with similar dreams: to see our work get published.
With that in mind, I’d love for you to join us at “Cartoonists Unite: Monthly Prep Session for The New Yorker Submissions.” Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this co-working session is designed to inspire, refine, and prepare your cartoons for one of the most prestigious publications in the industry. We offer peer reviews, expert advice, and dedicated work time. This is a chance to gain insights from experienced professionals and improve your work through constructive feedback. Let’s brainstorm, sketch, and succeed together. Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate and share your humor with The New Yorker's audience!
