What we’re about
The start of this wonderfully diverse community was when Tyler made a reddit post looking for new friends, and was overwhelmed with the number of interested parties. We've been steadily growing from there, and are now at the point where we have more members than we have tables/space at Emerald Tavern. So the decision has been made by the leadership team to cut back on the meetup postings and focus our energy on running the group through our discord. The events are still
happening but the Emerald Tavern events won't be posted here for the time being.We have also started holding game nights on the alternating Saturday's at Bat City games and comics, starting at 6pm and running till 10pm when the store closes. If you are interested in attending, please join the ASCG Discord, where we make community announcements, share event schedules, gather people for pick up game nights, and connect more as an Austin Community!
