You know what it's like. You return from an amazing trip only to see your friends' eyes glaze over when you try to tell them about your adventure. We HEAR you and we are HERE for you.
Every week, one of our members gives a presentation on a recent adventure. We are not professional photographers or digital nomads or Insta-Gals or Dudes. We are regular people who enjoy leaving our comfort zones to see other parts of the globe.
Our presentations include exploring the cobblestone streets of old Europe to the mysterious creatures of the Amazon to Dune Bashing in the Sahara. No two presentation are alike even if they are on the same destination!
We are low-key, friendly, curious, and would LOVE to hear about your travels. But there is also no pressure to give a presentation. Even of you just want to hear about other destinations, we would love to have you join our group. You do You.
Annual Dues: In order to cover the expenses of running this Meet-Up group, there is an annual dues of $10. However, there is a 30 trial period for new members.
In Gratitude: To Elise who captained this group for 17 years. Elise worked tirelessly to find venues where this group could meet in person prior to the Covid pandemic. When we could no longer meet in person, she found a way to keep the group alive through online meetings. As this group meets weekly, that means a lot of sacrifice. While subsequent organizers will each put their personal stamp on the group, they will still ultimately stand on the foundation created by Elise.
