Hike: Seaton trail - Hwy 7

Route:
Distance: 10km
Speed: 3 km / hr

Will be a relatively short and easy hike compare to our other hikes in the past. It will take us about 1hr to cover about 3-4km distance to our destination at Whitevale Park where we will stop for a lunch break around 1pm so bring some snacks with you! Depending on weather condition, instead of sitting down, we might hike some more to keep warm and snack away. On the way back, route will be more interesting as we will mainly be off trail exploring the area. Will try to spot some birds, rabbits, deer and potentially other wildlife in the area. Dress warm but not too much as our body will generate heat as we walk. Carry extra clothing in backpack incase you might need it. Probably won't, but if there is snows, you might want to consider bring a pair of crampon.

Late arrivals:
Be punctual and arrive at least 5 mins before the start time. If you're late, you can buy the host a drink or leave $5 tip for the inconvenience. If you can not find us or running late, please contact the whatsapp group above and not on meetup.

RSVP No show:
RSVP no show are simply not tolerated in this group, period. Think about it, everyone is there but you and members are trying to contact you to see where you're at. We decide to wait a bit long but you never show up and everyone wasted time waiting around for no reason. That's just not cool. If you can't make it, is your responsibility to update your statues to not going in advance. Failure to do so could result in a permanent suspension from the group.

General notice:
Wear comfortable outdoor shoes and clothing suitable for the weather condition. Friendly dogs & kids are welcome to join with a supervised adult. If the event is more than 3hrs, you might want to consider bring some food and drink. If you wish to leave early, you may do so at anytime. There is a possibility this event could be rescheduled to the following week due to any unexpected situation / weather condition. However, the odds are low.
