Best of Egypt

Egypt is a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East. It dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza's colossal Pyramids.

Day 1,
Arrival at Cairo, the capital city of Egypt.
In the evening, we will go for a walk in the downtown and taste local Egyptian food.

Day 2,
In the morning, we will travel to Dahsur Red Pyramid. We can go inside them.
Later, we will visit the Royal Museum of Egypt (it has actual mummies).
In the evening, we will visit the AL-Azhar Mosque and the Khan-E-Khalili market.

Day 3,
In the morning, we will go to the Giza Necropolis to see the Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphynx and the Papyrus Institute.
In the late afternoon, we will travel to Alexandria.

Day 4,
Alexandria sightseeing – Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa; ancient Roman theater etc.
After lunch we will visit Bibliotheca, which is the largest collection of ancient books and arts.
Evening at the Citadel of Qaitbay.

Day 5,
Travel to Siwa early in the morning.
Rest in noon. In the afternoon we will go for the desert Safari. It will include a range of activities like driving over the sand dunes, coffee in the vast sea of sand and then dinner/campfire below the stars.

Day 6,
For sunrise we can go to the mountain of the dead (not scary).
After breakfast, we will have a relaxing time in the salt lakes of Siwa where you can float without any effort due to the high amount of salt.
In the late afternoon, visit the market of Siwa for shopping authentic local desert products.
Then, Overnight bus to Cairo.

Day 7,
Morning flight from Cairo to Luxor - the sight of ancient Thebes
We explore the east bank
- Karnak Temple,
- Luxor temple,

Day 8,
In the early morning, we will go for the sunrise hour Hot Air Balloon ride.
In the afternoon, we will explore the west bank of Luxor
- Valley of the Kings,
- Medinet Habu,
Overnight bus to Cairo.

Day 9,
Reach Cairo at 8am. You can board the return flight or spend another day in Cairo
