Welcome to the Bangkok Mental Health Social Hub – a platform where we bring people together to chat about mental wellness, share laughs, and support each other through life’s ups and downs. If you're keen on learning more about psychology, meeting new friends, and finding a supportive community, you've just found your spot!
Who We Are?
Think of us as a group of friendly faces, both Thai and expat, who are passionate about mental health and well-being. Led by Dr Coby Liew, an experienced psychologist and clinical social worker with over 12 years of practical counselling experience, we’re all about making mental health conversations engaging, insightful, and, most importantly, fun! We will communicate mostly in English, so it's a good opportunity for anyone who wants to practice and improve their speaking and communication skills. Furthermore, you also get to learn more about human psychology! Isn't that great? :)
What we do as a Meet-up Group?
At the Bangkok Mental Health Social Hub, we know that understanding mental health doesn't have to be a chore. Here’s a taste of what we offer:
Interactive workshops—We will explore interesting topics that will help you understand depression and anxiety, self-confidence and self-worth, mindfulness, stress management, emotions and feelings, ways to overcome your fears, self-discovery activities and many more... Our meet-up sessions are interactive and packed with practical tips you can use in your daily life. Plus, they're led by experts who make learning a breeze.
Social connections -- Whether it’s a casual coffee meetup or a themed social night, our events are all about psychology and human connection. Picture yourself chatting about mental health over a latte or hot chocolate, hearing about people's journeys, and being there to support each other; we promise you’ll have a blast and meet some amazing people and form new friendships!
Support groups -- Life can be tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Our support groups are a safe space to share your experiences, get support, and connect with others who truly get it.
