This November we'll complete the Keyword Book Challenge and try out The Tarratine. They are not open on Tuesdays, so moving to Wednesday for this month. I was told that there is a "library" where we can be seated for dinner.

The History of the Tarratine

The Tarratine Building is a historic structure in Bangor’s Great Fire District. The exclusive Tarratine Club was organized in the year 1884 by 31 Bangor citizens. Among that group of 31 was former U.S. Vice President and first Tarratine Club President Hannibal Hamlin.
The original Tarratine Club served as a social club that fostered business growth and encouraged the progress of social services in the local community.

The Keyword Book Challenge is an annual challenge in which you read a book each month that has one of eight 'keywords' in its title. For November the keywords are: spice, life, truly, couple, hello, joy, keep, young.

For those of you who experience feelings of dread when given assigned reading, please feel free to choose your own book and comment it below (we all love a good recommendation).

We'll have dinner and chat about the books we read. As per usual, everyone is responsible for the cost of their own food/drink. Feel free to make restaurant suggestions for future meetings as well!
