Rational choice theory, specifically the theory of games, is often thought to rest on assumptions of self-interestedness if not downright selfishness. However, basic games, whether “played” in field research or class simulations reveal a refreshingly whole version of humanity. The difference between the strategic choices that game predict and what actual players actually choose can and should be a starting point to understand better how we behave in both market and non-market interactions.
The event will take place from 6-8 PM and will include pizza and beer/wine. This event is free and open to the public. Donor's circle members, Supporting members, and Student members can register with eventbrite here.
Please share this invitation with any friends or colleagues who might be interested in joining our discussion. We're looking forward to another fantastic event and can't wait to see you there!
