Waterfront circular walk for 60+ Singles with optional lunch at the Watershed

Come and join us for this 3 + mile circular walk starting from the boat 'UNDER THE STARS ' (NOT THE BAR) which is situated in the city centre near the historical landmark the Cascade steps. This is a great location for members to join us who live in Bristol or outside. There are plenty of parking places nearby and trains that stop at Temple Meads which is a short walk away and also buses that stop at the City centre.

This walk takes in many historic attractions along the Waterfront including the M shed, The Matthew ship, The SS great Britain a famous ocean liner and the Maritime museum. There are lovely views as we walk along the harbourside and we'll stop for a cuppa on route. We suggest comfortable walking shoes due to the uneven terrain.

After the walk you have the option to have a drink and meal at the Watershed at 1pm. This is a popular venue we have chosen to eat at again due to the variety of meals they offer. If you would prefer not to go to the Watershed then please let me know as I have booked a table for 16 people.
