24.5 miles. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at SEPTA Orange Street Station in Media (end of the line for #101 Trolley from 69th St Station). At approximately 7:40 a.m. we will also pass by the Media/Elwyn SEPTA Station. We will be hiking along trails, roads, fields, and forests. On this traditional Thanksgiving Day hike, we will also see the Brandywine Creek and the DuPont Estates. Return by Uber from Wilmington. Due to the length of this hike, it is considered to be fast paced and strenuous. There are very few places where one could decide to discontinue the hike. Our plan is to finish the hike at the historic Dupont Hotel where we will call an Uber. If you have questions, consult with leader before attempting this hike. Bring lunch, water, snacks. RSVP required at https://4142298.xyz/Batona-HikingClub/ or by contacting leader. Cost: $1.00 + public transportation fees, approximately $34+. Leader: Val Korszniak, 856-234-2773, [email protected].
