Daytrip to Schliersee - A Bavarian Mountain Experience!

Hello Everyone!

Come on and join us for a day trip to the stunning Lake Schliersee, only an hour from Munich by train!

We'll hike up to Schliersbergalm, where we can enjoy delicious Bavarian food and take in breathtaking views of Lake Schliersee and the Alps. It's an easy, scenic hike of under an hour. Later, we’ll walk along the lake and explore the beautiful surrounding nature.

Meeting Point 📍:
We’ll meet in front of Schliersee station at 11:30 AM. Look for me in a yellow jacket to easily spot me. The train leaves at Munich main station at 10:30 AM in front of platform 34. You need to hop on the very first train part that heads to Bayrischzell (NOT Lenggries or Tegernsee).

What to Bring:
- Hiking shoes (suitable for moderately steep gravel paths)
- Appropriate clothing (e.g. a warm jacket --> we will sit outside, sunglasses)
- Snacks and water (or plan to purchase lunch at the Alm)
- Cash

Please note:
Each person is responsible for purchasing their own train ticket (the 49-euro Deutschland ticket is recommended).

This is a self-guided event. Participants are responsible for their own safety. The organizer is not liable for any accidents.
