Bay Area Bitcoiners is a casual group for bitcoin lovers, learners, and newbs. We get together regularly around the Bay-Area to meet like-minded friends and discuss all things bitcoin over a beer or two.

Come meet us at My Coffee Roastery Cafe for tea with other bitcoiners! This is a casual event to meet other local bitcoiners on the weekend (Saturday).
If this is your first time at one of our meetups, we have a few simple guidelines to enhance everyone’s experience:
- our meetups and events have a simple and singular focus: Bitcoin. All of our topics and discussions will be centered around Bitcoin, the global monetary network, and bitcoin, the reserve asset. If you are interested in crypto tokens, stocks, blockchains, altcoins, alternative investing, NFTs, etc. that is completely fine. There are a number of other meetups to join. This meetup however is just focused on Bitcoin.
All levels are welcome. Please RSVP as space will be limited!

Learn by doing!
We're going to use Testnet to receive and send Testnet-Bitcoin to each other . Bitcoin Testnet is a replica of the Bitcoin network used for testing and development without risking real funds.
This is a totally safe, fun way to learn Bitcoin basics. Bring your smart phone or laptop to participate or just bring your self to watch and learn with others.
