Details

About us: We're a friendly casual peer support group for anybody 18+ who lives with chronic illness(es), chronic pain, invisible disabilities, and any sort of mental health experiences. Our group is a safe space to hang out, sit, talk about our lives, share coping strategies, form friendships, create community, and get support.

Accessibility info: There is street parking on the same block as the meetup and a free-of-charge parking lot a block away. The meeting space is wheelchair and mobility device accessible. There are wheelchair and mobility device-accessible bathrooms at Starbucks and Peet’s, which are both a block away. The meeting space is scent-free and low light. Please refrain from wearing anything scented, including scented shampoo, lotion, dry-cleaned clothes, etc.

Warmth and comfort: Remember to wear warm clothes and bring a throw blanket since I'll have the garage door open for ventilation/COVID safety.

Donations: There's a $2 to $5 suggested donation per group to cover the fees from meetup.com

Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the group.

COVID-19 safety measures

COVID-19 vaccination required
The space is indoors with a ton of ventilation (an open garage door), so be prepared by wearing warm clothes and/or by bringing a throw blanket to put over your lap. Please stay home if you think you might have Covid or another contagious virus.
The event host is instituting the above safety measures for this event. Meetup is not responsible for ensuring, and will not independently verify, that these precautions are followed.
