Wisdom Night: Friday Zazen & Dharma Talk in the Outer Sunset + Tea Talk
Looking for a serene escape from your daily routine? Join us at the Dharma Treasury Temple, a branch of Bodhi Light International (BLI) for Wisdom Night: Friday Zazen & Dharma Talk in the Outer Sunset! This in-person event offers a wonderful opportunity to ask questions about any physical or spiritual challenges you may be facing in your practice. Our resident Sangha (Buddhist monastic) will be available to provide guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or new to the practice, everyone is welcome.

Event Schedule:

• 5-6 pm: Silent Meditation (Buddha Hall)
• 6-7 pm: Dharma Talk by Master YongHua (English with translations in Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietanmese)

After the silent meditation led by our resident Sangha and Master YongHua, you can listen to his insightful Dharma talk and ask questions about your life or meditation practice. Meditating alongside experienced practitioners will leave you feeling refreshed and empowered.

Alternative Option: Tea Talk & Meditation
Recommended for beginners

• 7-8:30 pm: Relax with a calming session of tea and meditation in the tea room. Learn meditation fundamentals from Buddhist monks over a soothing cup of tea (decaffeinated options available).
• 8:30-10 pm: Sutra Lecture by Master YongHua (English with translations in Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietanmese)

For newcomers, we recommend joining us at 7:00 PM for Tea Time with a Sunim(Buddhist Monastic). This casual setting is perfect for learning the fundamentals of meditation while enjoying a relaxed conversation.
This event is free and open to the public, welcoming all regardless of religious beliefs, age, or cultural background. You can attend the entire program or just the parts that interest you.
