Bay Area Musicians Meetup brings music to your life! Our meetup is a place where you can meet other musicians, play songs with a band, perform at open mics, start writing new music and begin a journey into performing music like never before.
We host a meetup every Saturday from 3-5 pm in Mountain View. We are open to all skill level and all instruments. If you enjoy and appreciate playing music, then this is the place for you.

Q: What songs are you doing?

Q: What exactly happens at the meetup?
A: We start working on the song immediately. We start by syncing on the various parts of the songs, the chords, rhythm, ending etc. After that we practice till we get good enough to do a single take to cover the entire song. It helps if you know the song or have listened to it a bunch of times. Depending on how long we take to finish the song, we end the meetup by jamming to some improvised beats and progressions.
Q: What should I bring?
A: Whatever you want! We have a lot of guitars, amps and keyboards but sometimes we get a lot of people so it's best to bring your equipment if you can.
Q: Should I prepare for the meetup in any way?
A: You should prepare for the song that we are doing that week. The better you know the song, the more fun you will have at the meetup. Other than that just show up for any of the meetups and we'll put you in a band straight away.
Q: Do you do any other activities?
A: Yes! We have performed at a number open mics across the Bay Area. Our members have formed bands . together and started writing new music and some have even started recording with the people they met here. We prepare and go to open mics for the songs we do at the meetup based on the interest of the people.
