𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐤 :
Roopkund Lake is in the state of Uttarakhand in India, is a famous glacial lake. This lake is famous due to more than five hundred skeletons of humans that are found at the edge of the lake. It is located in the Himalayas and rests at an altitude of nearly 4,800 meters. Roopkund is located in the Chamoli district of Garhwal.

Lohajung is the starting trekking point for Roopkund. The Roopkund trek can also be called Skeleton Trek due to the presence of different skeletons in and around the lake. The lake is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and rock-strewn glaciers.

• via Ali bugyal

• Abhin kharak to Pathar Nachuni ( 12800ft)
• 6km trek
• Easiest day of the trek

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟓 :
Pathal nachuni To Baguwabasa Trek (14100ft)

• 4 km of trek
• Gradual ascent then descent of 1km
• Kalu Vinayak Temple
• we may find snow on the trail here

Baguwabasa To Roopkund and Back to Pathar Nachuni

• 3 km to Roopkund Lake ( 15755ft)
• 7km to patharnachuni back

Pathar Nachuni To Lohajung

• 15 km Trek to Wan village
• 45 min of drive to Lohajung

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟖:
Lohajung To Rishikesh drive

• 8-10 hrs drive
• Will reach Rishikesh by 6.00 pm
• Plan your journey after 7.00 pm
