What we’re about
This is a BitcoinCash (BCH) specific meetup group. We are not opposed to discussing the pros/cons of other cryptocurrencies as well, but the main purpose of this group is to spread awareness, educate, discuss and promote adoption of BitcoinCash for both merchants and end users in our local economy.
If you take the title of the Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper seriously when it states: "Bitcoin - A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" and you feel that BCH is our best shot at fighting against the manipulated, predatory, hegemonic, inflationary, bullshit fiat system we currently have today...you'll be in good company.
Crypto curious, crypto users, crypto activists/enthusiasts, big-blockers, developers, influencers, merchants, business owners, newbies, OGs, traders, investors and proponents of hard/sound money. Come one come all!
Generally speaking, this group does NOT promote speculative assets without real-world utility as money (BTC, DOGE, Memecoins) or Proof-of-Stake/Initial Coin Offering chains (ETH, BSC, SOL, ADA) as we specifically want to focus on decentralized, Proof-of-Work coin(s) that have a monetary utility/purpose as an effective medium of exchange for the world.
If your main focus is fiat "nUmBeR gO uP" speculation, that's fine, but this is NOT the group you're looking for.
