Weeknight Hike at Frick Park

Welcome to the Beat the Blues Wellness Adventure Group! Join host AJ for an evening hike at Frick Park in Pittsburgh.
Meeting location: we will meet at the lower Frick parking lot at 7:00pm Directions to Lower Frick Lot: From S. Braddock Ave. at the light at W. Hutchenson St. with the Get Go Gas station on the right, turn left. Follow W. Hutchenson for eight blocks to Lancaster St. and a sign for the entrance to the park. Turn right and follow the winding road down to the parking lot.
Distance and pace: This moderate to fast paced hike involves hills and single path trails. The hike covers about 3-4 miles in about an hour and a half to 45 minutes. This is not a slowpoke hike.
**Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join our hikes. Please note that all dogs and their behavior are the sole responsibility of the owner.
Recommendations:

• This hike starts promptly at 7:00pm and tends to get dark around 8 PM. You are strongly encouraged to bring a headlamp or flashlight if you need it.
• Because of the terrain and unexpected ground conditions (e.g., mud, water, loose ground, etc.), it is HIGHLY recommended that you wear hiking shoes. Hiking poles are encouraged for uneven terrain but not always necessary.
• Lastly, hydration is vital. We strongly recommend that you bring water or some hydration with you.

We reserve the right to remove anyone who does not adhere to our guidelines from the event(s) or the group.
Hikers attend at their own risk, and they are responsible for determining what is safe for them on all our hikes.
