This walk takes us to one of the most scenic areas in Bedfordshire, there will be a few hills to climb, and we will be rewarded with some spectacular views.

Meet by the playing field on Old Road in Barton le Clay, we will follow the Bunyan trail through picturesque countryside, passing through the pretty village of Hexton, we will then make our way up to Deacon Hill, a great viewing point to talk in the surrounding scenery. After a well deserved lunch stop we will make our way to the Barton hills, another lovely viewpoint. All downhill from here back to the start, boots off and a short drive to a well deserved pub pit stop.

Duration approximately 4 hours with a 30 minute break for lunch.

There are no loos on the walk but lots of hedges for emergencies.

Please arrive promptly to be ready to leave at 10am. Please note another walking group is meeting at this location so you may need to park in nearby roads
