This walk from Ampthill Park goes to the villages of Lidlington and Ridgemont, passing through some wonderful woodland, past the ruins of a church, through some beautiful countryside. There will be a few hills to tackle with quite a lot of ascent for the distance.
What to Expect
An 11.5 mile circular walk mainly on good tracks and small lanes, some tracks may be muddy and overgrown in places. There will be rolling hills and some steep climbs. Total ascent 1200ft, we will maintain a pace of just over 3mph throughout the walk.
This walk will be quite challenging due to the amount of ascent. It is suitable for anyone with a good standard of walking fitness.

Please note that there are 2 car parks in Ampthill Park, we are using the one at the very end of Woburn Street NOT the football ground car park. If you are unsure please follow the directions from google maps on the walk page from the app.
