Creative Play - Build a Boardgame Workshop

A chilled afternoon, where you can play with some arts and craft materials and have a go at making your own game. Materials will be provided, such as scissors, cardboard, lots of game components & dice etc. I'll be on hand if people want help with themes and mechanics, but I'd like to run this as a fairly, relaxed unstructured afternoon, where people can play and create freely. You're free to make whatever type of game you want, be it card, board, or party.

We will start at 13:00. I can offer a little talk at the start on the basics of designing and planning games, if attendees want, but you're more than welcome to do your own thing.

The event will be in the backroom of the Firebowl Bowling Alley, where we usually host the 'Beer and Boardgames' night. As ever, it helps keep our relationship with the venue sweet if you buy at least a drink or two from them.
