Look at my Quail! and Boardgames

Look at the quail. LOOK AT THE QUAIL! I adopted a quail last month and I can't think of a theme for this week, so in lieu of anything meaningful to write, let me introduce Lil' Bob. He identifies as a lady - which is probably fortunate, as eggless gentlemen quails tend to end up covered in breadcrumbs and spices. Lil' Bob likes twigs, moss, and is, bless her, as dumb as a fucking rock. But she's a cutie and I love her. Anyhow, the board games.....

Please bring cash as the venue doesn't take cards.

How does it work: We open the doors at 7pm and the bring along a selection of board & card games for people to play. We're also very happy if you want to bring along some of your own games! We have a wide variety to choose from, from casual party games to heavy duty strategy.

We're there to help explain rules and set people up with new games (usually 7 - 7:30pm). After that, we'll still be about, but probably playing something ourselves and showing anyone who passes by quail photos. Our regulars are super-friendly and a very welcoming bunch.
