Infrared Sauna vs. Traditional Sauna <br>Traditional heaters such as hot rock or steam saunas warm the air. Infrared saunas heat the body, making it a more gentle and pleasant experience. Infrared saunas operate at a lower temperature than traditional heaters. Thus there is less experience with shortness of breath or heat exhaustion.

Infrared saunas are seven times more effective than traditional saunas. Infrared saunas produce sweat composed of 20% toxins versus only 3% in a traditional sauna.

Policy:
All packages expire one year from date of purchase.

Dress Code:
We provide each client with a bath towel and towel to sit on. An additional towel is provided for drying off after your session.

Some like to wear their bathing suits or undergarments when in the sauna; however, most go in with just the towels we provide. We recommend not showering until a couple hours after sauna.

We recommend bringing loose, comfortable clothing to change into after your session.

FYI & Safety Tips:
- We do Not recommend the sauna for pregnant women
- Please remove all cosmetics prior
- Please no unsupervised children under the age of 16
- Please lock the door behind your private sauna room
- Please no shoes in the sauna
- Please do not eat in the sauna room
- Please do not bring outside beverages into the sauna room. We provide a complementary Detox Hot Tea to sip on while in the sauna. Afterwards we have cool and hot water to drink if you like
- Please shut the glass door gently
- Please do Not apply any oils or lotions to your skin prior to entering the sauna
- Please make sure you vacate the sauna room when your booked time is up. You are welcome to use the rest room down the hall to finish dressing after your sauna as other guests may be waiting. Thank you for your consideration
- We recommend waiting about 60 minutes before showering to allow your body to continue to release toxins
- Enjoy your naturally smooth skin after your sauna !

Temperature:
Infrared saunas will heat your body, not the air. The temperature inside the sauna does not dictate the benefit or quality of your sauna session. Bear this in mind when seeing and experiencing the ambient temperature inside the sauna.

In their book Beyond Antibiotics, Drs. Michael A. Schmidt et al. state the following: “Saunas are being used by some doctors to stimulate the release of toxins from the bodies of their patients. They have found that a lower temperature (105-125 F) sauna taken for a longer duration is most beneficial. These low temperatures stimulate a fat sweat, which eliminates toxins stored in fat, as opposed to the high temperature sauna, which encourages a water sweat.”

Please follow your doctor’s instructions if they recommend using a lower temperature (which is still beneficial).

Sanitary:
Infrared light naturally eliminates the presence of viral, bacterial, and fungal toxins. Additionally, our staff cleans and sanitizes the saunas after each use.
