Details
***Please note - this walk will be on Sunday 17th November***
***Apologies for the date change, I can't make it on the 24th***
Grade: Moderate. Boots or walking shoes and poles. No trainers.
We are heading to east Belfast to do Cregagh Glen linear walk and check out the recent bridge upgrades.
It's a wooden walkway that leads into the grounds of Lisnabreeny House and boasts lovely waterfalls.
We'll follow the pathway which takes you uphill through Cregagh Glen and into the Castlereagh Hills.
The woodland section will be stunning at this time of year and from the top we'll get great views of the Belfast Hills and the Mournes.
Entrance on Upper Knockbreda Road A55, north of the Cregagh Road junction. Parking in adjacent streets. These streets are shown by clicking on 'location' balloon. See the picture below for details.
Be careful if crossing what is a very busy road where the entrance to Cregagh Glen is located.
The walk costs £6 for non-members and £1 for paid up members.
As always if you are lost or late, a text or phone call will reach me on 07583 042962.
