We are made for intimate connections with others, yet sometimes trauma triggers from the past inhibit our ability to be with others as our best selves. Balancing the desire for connection with our innate fear of humiliation or rejection is a real challenge for most people, especially those with trauma in their past. Knowing how to find that balance means tuning in to what our bodies are telling us in each moment. This event will explore the connection between the signals our bodies give us, our past trauma and present reality.

This group is committed to creating a breakthrough in your ability to move beyond trauma triggers that throw up roadblocks in your relationships, starting with your relationship with yourself. Learn how to love your true self and take the first steps to share your unique self with the world.

We are made for intimate connections with others, yet these connections can be scary for those who have been wounded, or who don’t let others get close. Anxiety is a real, physiological series of responses designed to protect us- but when overused, anxiety makes us hyper-alert and full of dread. Trying to mentally convince ourselves these feelings are silly or unwarranted usually fails. Instead, there are other tools we can use to move through anxious feelings and come out the other side more present and able to take sensible risks without becoming overwhelmed, thus making us able to forge real connections with the people in our lives and find joy. This event will give you tools that, with practice, will do just that.
