What we’re about

Come join the Bellingham Knights Chess Club, a chess player group for all ages and levels. These chess gatherings were formed to play chess in Bellingham and the Whatcom County area.

We play chess at various venues in the Bellingham area (check our club calendar for dates and venues). It is an opportunity to meet other chess players and play the world's oldest and most strategic game.

There is no fee or sign-up required ... just bring your chess sets (clocks optional). For our summer outdoor venues, also bring a small pop-up table and two chairs, if possible. If you don't have a chess board or table/chairs, you're still welcome to come come out and play.

Chess players are offered the opportunity to meet and play with other chess players of all skill levels who generally come from Bellingham and the surrounding Whatcom county area.

NOTE: THE ATTENDANCE AT OUR CHESS EVENTS TYPICALLY VARIES FROM 12 TO 20+ PLAYERS (NOT THE "ATTENDEES" NUMBER SHOWN IN MEETUP).

Feel free to contact the organizer with your questions and comments.

If you are not already on the club membership email list, you can sign up on our website join page (FREE) to receive chess-related announcements and a monthly newsletters.
