Hike MODERATE 6 miles Tumalo State Park to Riley Ranch & Back

NLet's head back to beautiful Tumalo for a MODERATE 6 mile hike! It's important for everybody to be able to hike a moderate pace to keep the group together.

We will take the trail from Tumalo State Park above the Deschutes River through the Riley Ranch Nature Reserve Canyon Loop Trail and back to Tumalo State Park. No dogs, please.

"Tumalo State Park is right on the Deschutes River which is lined with reeds and beautiful red bushes as well as large Ponderosa Pines."

Bring water. Bring a snack if you wish. You might want to bring poles because there are a lot of rocks and the trail is very narrow at certain points. They require a $5 day pass per vehicle.
