This is a 6 mile walk that takes us across fields & woodland from the village of Flaunden down to the Chess Valley, we cross the river alongside the stunning Mill House before climbing to view the gardens of Chenies Manor. We then walk through woodlands high above the Chess before crossing back over the river at the weir & on to the village of Latimer. Woodland paths then take us back to Flaunden where the hospitality of The Green Dragon pub can be enjoyed.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make Malcolm aware if you have any medical conditions. If you are unable to attend please be sure to change your RSVP otherwise the departure will be delayed.
