Weekend walk: Steve's Chipperfield walk

In my absence, this walk will be led by Steve so please be sure to offer your support and gratitude. This is a 5-6 mile walk which begins in Chipperfield and sets off on a route of Steve's choosing (could be fun!).

The walk should take about 2.5 hours and once you return to Chipperfield, there is the option to take refreshments in the Blackwell Cafe where there is a spacious beer garden. The address for the cafe is 10 The Common, Chipperfield, Kings Langley WD4 9BS. If the church car park is full, there is parking available on the opposite side of the road or on the far side of the common.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make Steve aware if you have any medical conditions.

Please note that, while we welcome dogs on our group walks, it is the responsibility of the owner to keep their dog under control and not behave in an aggressive manner towards other walkers and/or their dogs. It is essential that our walks remain safe, enjoyable and inclusive and that our members feel comfortable in joining them. Also, please be mindful to keep dogs on leads for roads and around other animals.
