As the year draws to a close, join us on a reflective pilgrimage hike along the scenic Havel River, from Wannsee to Potsdam. This 15 km route is not just a walk in nature and through history but a journey inward as we explore themes of closure and renewal.

📅 Date & Time:

• Start: 10:00 AM at S-Bahn Wannsee
• End: Approximately 3:30 PM at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof

🗺️ Sights Along the Way:

• The historic House of the Wannsee Conference
• The iconic Glienicke Bridge
• Babelsberg Palace

While these landmarks offer fascinating historical insights, our focus will be on using this time to reflect, connect, and prepare for the year ahead. The hike will include short spiritual and historical reflections to provide both context and inspiration.

🌊 Optional Ice Bath Experience:
At a riverside beach along our path, we will pause for a symbolic ice bath (completely optional). This tradition represents cleansing, renewal, and a fresh start for the new year. If you’d like to participate, please bring swimwear, a towel, and warm clothes to change into.

🤔 Why This Hike?
The period between Christmas and New Year can feel overwhelming for many – filled with pressure to reflect and plan ambitious resolutions. This hike offers a chance to step away from that noise, connect with others, and find peace in nature. Together, we’ll share conversations, embrace stillness, and create space to end the year with intention and begin anew with strength.

🔔 Important Notes:

• Clothing: Dress warmly (winter jacket, gloves, scarf, hat, etc.) and layer up to stay comfortable during breaks.
• Essentials: Bring water, snacks, and a thermos with tea or coffee.
• Participation in the hike and ice bath is at your own risk. Ensure you’re physically prepared for both.

This experience will not only help you leave behind the burdens of the past year but will also inspire hope and focus for the new one. We look forward to walking this meaningful path together!

Embark on a serene 15 km pilgrimage hike from Erkner to Köpenick, perfect for both newcomers and seasoned hikers.

• Finish: S-Bahn Station Köpenick

Following the paths of the Brandenburg Jakobsweg, we’ll walk at a moderate pace, allowing time to appreciate the beauty of the Müggelsee and the surrounding landscapes. This route offers moments of peaceful reflection, meaningful conversation, and a chance to connect with fellow pilgrims in a mindful, supportive environment. The journey promises nature, spirituality, and community, all within easy reach via public transport from Berlin. Come join us and find inspiration on this beautiful trail.
