Best Friends and Belly laughs is a space curated to help you let loose, have fun, laugh and dance without limitation in a friendly, engaging, and high-energy environment! We do activities like improv comedy games, dancing and more. No experience is required.
Through a super playful process, we'll help you discover your inner improv and dance roots (aka superhero powers)...and what you discover may (and most certainly will) surprise you!
At these meetups you will:
-Play a variety of easy-to-learn, engaging, and outrageously fun improv and dance games.
-Find comfort and true freedom in expressing your weird side.
-Learn the foundational basics of improv comedy (even if it's your first time).
-Connect and make new friends within the Lake Tahoe community!
What kind of games do we play?
Improv
We play short-form improv games designed to inspire collaboration and creative, out-of-the-box thinking and also dabble in a bit of improv scene work. If you've never done improv before, feel free to come see what we're all about!
Dance
We use an innovative approach to inspire your creativity right from the beginning. This is about having fun first, the more fun you have the faster you learn!

CODE OF CONDUCT: When participating in any event sanctioned as a BFBL meetup, all BFBL participants shall be expected to demonstrate courteous and cordial behavior in action and in speech. Participants are expected to be kind, respectful, and inclusive of others, whether engaged in online dialogue or at any BFBL event. Event Hosts shall endeavor to create and maintain, in addition to general policy expectations, a welcoming, harmonious, safe, and otherwise supportive environment at their events. Our goal is that every member feels comfortable and able to become further integrated into the BFBL community.
NOTICE OF ASSUMED RISK: Meetup, Inc. organizers and sponsors do NOT maintain health, auto, home, life, accident, or other insurance policies applicable to attendees. This is a notice to you that risks associated with your participation in BFBL events, and participation of your guests in BFBL events, are solely your responsibility. Attendance at a BFBL event is your acknowledgement that you understand that you assume all risk, and that you release BFBL and members of BFBL from any and all liability for personal injury, property damage, or death. BFBL urges members to obtain insurance BEFORE participating in any BFBL events if you feel it necessary to have insurance applicable to such participation.
PHOTO RELEASE: By attending BFBL, you acknowledge that photographs might be taken at the event which will include your image. These photographs and/or videos may be used in publications, news releases,social media, online, and in other communications related to the mission of BFBL.If you do not wish to have your photograph taken, please notify the event host at the beginning of the event (or as soon as possible).
