BETTERINVESTING HOUSTON CHAPTER MODEL INVESTMENT CLUB invites you to the November 16, 2024 (Saturday) free meeting from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

This will be a hybrid meeting. (Combination in person and online).

There will be a presentation on a Stock to Study and an Education Session.

How does a club find a quality stock to study? One great way is with an Industry Study. Stock Selection Guides (SSGs) for companies in an underrepresented industry of the club’s portfolio are compared with each other using the Stock Comparison Guide (SCG). This is a proven process with surprising results.

The November Industry Study is Solar Equipment.

The stocks under consideration are:

• First Solar (FSLR)
• Shoals Technologies (SHLS)
• NEXTracker (NXT)
• Canadian Solar (CSIQ)

The Education topic this month is on Filling Out a First Cut.

The Model Club will illustrate the mechanics of gathering information to complete and issue a First Cut Stock Report. First Cuts are developed and submitted to BetterInvesting National to share stock ideas with The BetterInvesting community.

We will also continue the work on updating the club's Partnership Agreement.

The public and BI members are welcome to attend as observers to learn how to form and operate a successful investment club in accordance with the methods and principles of the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC)/BetterInvesting.
