Alpine Challenge: Glacier Haute Route

This is the delayed 10 Year Anniversary Challenge of the Glacier Haute Route !
Dates
This will take place between Wednesday 3 July to Sun 13 July and will follow the original haute route through the Alps. We'll begin in L'Argentiere in France and cross the Alps to Zermatt in Switzerland taking in Pigne d'Arolla (3796m) and Tete Blanche (3710m).
Cost
This will cost about £1500 not including flights, travel, ski lifts, transfers, insurance, membership of the Austrian Alpine Club or drinks, lunches and some dinners. So, basically double it to £3k.
Requirements
You will need to be competent at walking in crampons and able to cope with a variety of rock, snow and ice terrains plus being part of a rope team.
You will need B1/B2/B3 boots, crampons, ice axe, helmet, harness, prussic loops and 2 carabiners plus clothing.
You will need to carry everything with you, there is no baggage transfer.
You will need to have completed previous events with me.

Chamonix to Albert Premiere hut plus glacier skills
Albert Premiere hut to Champex via Le Breya
Champex to Cabane de Chanrion via Mauvoison Dam
Cabane de Chanrion to Cabane des Vignettes via Otemma glacier
Cabane des Vignettes to Arolla via Pique d'Arolla
Arolla to Cabane de Bertol
Cabane de Bertol to Cabane Schoenbiel via Tete Blanche
Cabane Schoenbiel to Zermatt
Return to UK, an extra day in Zermatt or transfer to the Alphubel 4206m trip
Briefing, training and Questions
Briefing will be provided when at least 3 other people sign up. Training can be done on weekends away and questions answered whenever asked!
