Scottish Winter Walking in Glencoe

Details

Overview
This is a winter walking event suitable for those who have had previous experience of winter walking and the use of crampons and ice axe.

There are only 3 places available.

Objectives
The aim will be to get out there, practice or learn new skills and tackle a few Munros.

What we do will be balanced against the skills and experience of the group as well as ground and weather conditions. The picture is from a previous training event based in the Highlands. We will be based in Glencoe but what we do on the day will depend upon the weather, ground conditions and the ability of the group.

Cost
The cost is £400 with £100 paid as a deposit to secure your place. The remainder will need to be paid by 15 Nov. Please ask for payment details if you need them.

What is included
Included in the price is:

  • Accommodation based upon a twin or shared basis
  • Basic breakfasts (porridge with berries),
  • Sandwich stuff for lunch (add your own snacks and bars)
  • and a hearty evening meal (which someone will cook)

Excluded is other fruit, crisps, biscuits, cake and alcohol!
