What we’re about

How can we make sense of today's problems with Scriptures written two thousand years ago? Are we supposed to have blind faith? Does organized religion stifle our reasoning powers?

What do the Scriptures say?
'Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD' (Isaiah 1:18).

An open invitation to reasoning!
Join our bible study group that gladly accepts the invitation to reason with God and study the Scriptures in their socio-historic political-cultural context!

Topics the group hopes to explore:

  1. What does mankind's future look like, as per the Bible?
  2. Why does God permit so much evil in the world?
  3. Are science and faith mutually exclusive? Could they be reconciled with each other?
  4. What has happened over 2000 years of church history and how has that changed Christianity from its original version?
  5. What does the Bible have to say about the societies we have created -- in comparison with the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached?

Hallmarks of the group:

  1. Informal and interactive study
  2. Freedom of thought and open mindedness
  3. Intellectually stimulating discussions based on the Scriptures
  4. No shackles of any organized religion's dogma
  5. Dignified and respectful of each other's opinions
