Ride with us in the Chapel Hill Carrboro Holiday Parade!

Ride with the Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill, the Carrboro Bicycle Coalition and other cycling organizations in the Chapel Hill - Carrboro Holiday parade!

This is a fun, famiy friendly experience. This will be (at least) our 10th year in participating! Wear your ugly Christmas sweater, decorate your bike and join us. We want to see a lot of bikes, and we hope to see all those cool cargo bikes people have been getting!

We will also be giving out coffee from Carrboro Coffee Roasters on a cargo bike - something we have done also for nearly 10 years. In addition the owner of the Box Turtle Bakery will be riding their bike in the parade and giving out yummy baked goods!

Meet us at 140 West Plaza (just across from the Target in Downtown Chapel Hill) , we will be easy to spot, look for all the bikes. The parades are safe as there are no longer any private motorized vehicles allowed. The parade route will end in Carrboro Town Commons. So, if you will be using a car to get your bikes here, we advise you park in Carrboro and ride to the parade start. The town begins to close the streets in advance, so it is pretty easy and safe!
