**Mt. Rainier National Park Bike Tour 2025**
**Sunday, August 3 - Thursday, August 7**

**Sunday, August 3 : Drive to Packwood, WA and check in**
**Monday, August 4 : Check out, Bike to Longmire - 33 miles uphill**
**Tuesday, August 5 : Check out, Bike to Paradise - 12 miles uphill**
**Wednesday, August 6 : Explore Paradise on foot**
**Thursday, August 7 : Check out, Bike to Packwood - 34 miles downhill, and drive home**

An iconic mountain looming over Seattle's skyline at 14,410 feet awaits our exploration. From the glaciated peak, to endless wildflower-filled meadows to powerful waterfalls, our senses will be filled with the spectacular of Mt. Rainier. Space is limited to 20 participants. Route is challenging at altitude, so review the flyer and route maps carefully to ensure success.

**Day 1:** Drive to Packwood, WA. Check into our lodging, explore town, and meet up for the social to meet the participants.

**Day 2:** Load up the Luggage, leave our cars, and explore along Skate Creek as it meanders through the trees and then continue along the mighty Nisqually River to our lunch stop at Wild Berry Restaurant on the deck. After lunch we will enter Mt. Rainier National Park and proceed to our lodging at National Park Inn. **Day 3:** Check out and begin an epic climb (4-5% constant grade) with epic views and sights. We will stop often at pullouts to absorb the wonders. Only 12 miles, but so much to see. We will pass Cougar Rock Campground, Ricksecker Point, Canyon Rim Viewpoint, Narada Falls before arriving at Paradise Point and checking into the historic Paradise Inn. **Day 4:** Rest and explore the beauty of Paradise. Lots of hiking among wildflowers to see glaciers, waterfalls and the glory of nature at over a mile above sea level on the flanks of Mt. Rainier. When James Longmire's daughter-in-law, Martha, first saw this site, she exclaimed, "Oh, what a paradise!"

**Day 5:** Descending into Stevens Canyon with provide more epic views and opportunities to take pictures while passing Reflection Lakes, Louise Lake, Box Canyon and Ohanapecosh Visitor Center. Did I mention we are cycling downhill all day??! After arriving in Packwood, we will load our vehicles and head home.
