The Ladysmith Car n' Shine is Aug 16, 2025. This a 3 day event.

Saturday Highlights include the Cowichan Valley Trail and Chemainus. We will stop at the Waterwheel Park in Chemainus for lunch and enjoy some music. Lorna recommends "Original Joe's" for supper.

Sunday's route. We will start from the A&W in Duncan @ 10 am. Enroute, we will stop at the campground @ approx 10:15 am to pickup campers. Please wait for us at the office! Highlights will be the Cowichan Lake trail loop. We will stop at "Jake's On the Lake" pub to replenish electrolytes and have lunch.

Monday's route. We will start from the A&W in Duncan @ 9 am. Today's route will include more of the Cowichan Valley trail, the Kinsol Trestle and a stop at the ***[Merridale Cidery](https://www.merridale.ca)***[ ](https://www.merridale.ca) for lunch. Again, we will aim to catch the Swartz Bay 4 or 5 pm Ferry.

For those camping, I have chosen the "**Cowichan River Campground**" in Duncan Saturday and Sunday night,

So, come and enjoy a 3 ferry ride/ 3 day, " 180 km +" weekend ride.

\*\* At the **Cowichan River Campground** we are allowed 3 tents per rustic **RV/tent site** and the cost per site is only $25. These sites do not include electricity, so bring a min 10,000 mAh battery for charging. If bringing an e-bike you will have to find a place to charge.
