Freewheelin Friday – Walker Road + TWO Southshore Loops

It's going to be kind of chilly with some windiness on Friday, so we'll head for shelter in the pines on Walker Road. The late-ish start time should help, but dress accordingly...

We will ride around behind the recently-renamed Pine Ridge Mall, take Palmer over to pick up MorningGlow, which we will descend to cross Lee Boulevard and follow Murphy Way to Liese Drive and on to Walker Road. Then it's up Walker to the South Shore of Lynx Lake for our first loop (with a regrouping at the restrooms by the lake), before continuing on up Walker to the mailboxes at the end of the pavement to regroup again. We will next descend to the South Shore entrance and again ride in to Lynx Lake for our third regrouping, then around the loop and down again to return to Panera via Ranch Drive and Gateway Boulevard.

The route is about 22 miles, with 1,600 feet of climbing. A great no-drop ride with a casual attitude, so come on out and join us. All bikes, including e-bikes, are welcome. Helmets are required, lights – front and rear – are highly recommended, and earbuds are discouraged.
