Rockville Holiday Bike Party

Details

We had so much fun with our first one; let's do it again! It'll be the holiday season so we'll do a lights tour of West Rockville. Make sure to be all lit up yourself! This will be a PARTY so bring music, streamers, and be festive. We will be riding past the Mayor's house so let's make sure she knows there's a party passing her house! We will explore the beautiful bike lanes and routes in our city while enjoying a fun bike ride with fellow cycling enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, this group ride is suitable for all levels of riders.

On this ride, we will explore routes and neighborhood streets at a casual, fun pace. We will be showcasing the importance of building community through cycling. Our experienced leaders will guide the group and provide tips on safe biking practices. We will be riding as it is getting dark, so be sure your bike has front white light and a back red light.

After the ride, we'll hang out in Town Center where we can have a snack or a refreshment.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for cycling fun. Join us for a memorable 4 mile ride and learn about the ongoing efforts of the RBAC in promoting bike-friendly initiatives in our city. All ages are welcomed. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Let's pedal our way to a healthier, happier Rockville!

READ THE FINE PRINT, PLEASE:

• Bicycling involves inherent risks and requires that participants be in proper physical condition. When you RSVP "yes" to a Bike Rockville event, that RSVP is your digital signature attesting that you have read, understood, and agreed to the group's Liability Waiver and Release, located here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BocKiaMJwba62c7b583CoOxIYamFiaWN/view?usp=sharing
• HELMETS ARE REQUIRED for all riders on every ride.
• We strongly recommend you bring a water bottle, spare tube, cell phone, ID card, and cash or credit card for emergencies.
• Rain at start cancels the ride; Wet pavement does not.
