SUPER Monster Gravel- Intermediate+/4/77

Details

Ride Description:
We will travel from Sonoita on a combination of pavement and singletrack to the eclectic town of Patagonia alongside the Patagonia Mountains. After climbing along Harshaw Creek we will cross the stunning San Rafael Valley, and make our way to Parker Canyon Lake.

We will return on very hilly pavement through Canelo and "The Grasslands" of Elgin and Sonoita.

In total this route is over 42 miles of gravel, 35 miles of pavement, and 4,600 ft. of climbing. In addition, the second half of the ride is more difficult than the first half.

We will make stops in Patagonia and at the Parker Canyon Lake store for water and food.

READ THIS: This ride is difficult. While most of the terrain would be considered intermediate for a gravel rider; the distance, climbing, and hours in the saddle are advanced. In terms of effort, this is at least equivalent to a century on the road.

READ This too: This ride is NOT suitable for mountain bikes due significant road riding. Gravel bikes only please. Tubeless tire setups are mandatory. We will be riding singletrack, doubletrack, and gravel roads,
