What we’re about

Come join the fun and ride with us! TCBC often has over 1500 rides scheduled a year, including both road bike and mountain bike rides. We have rides across the Twin Cities area and you'll meet riders who share your love of bicycling and the outdoors. Rides are mostly on low-traffic roads and trails. Each ride will have at least one trained and experienced ride leader.

TCBC has a wide range of cycling speeds among our many members. Our rides are designed to be social group rides, but since cycling speeds can vary so greatly, TCBC has developed the Ride Key and Ride Considerations to assist in choosing a ride that best fits your riding ability and comfort level; see https://biketcbc.org/ride-key/

Ride times listed are departure times. Come to the ride start location at least 15 minutes before the depart time listed on the schedule. All riders are required to properly wear an approved helmet while on any TCBC ride. Before you ride with the Club, please read TCBC’s Ride Safety Rules and Recommendations at https://biketcbc.org/ride-safety-rules/

Founded in 1993, the Twin Cities Bicycling Club (TCBC) is the largest recreational bicycling club in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. TCBC promotes enjoyable, safe and responsible cycling through group rides with a wide variety of pace and difficulty levels that are led by trained ride leaders. Anyone is welcome to attend one ride for free before signing up as a member. Additionally, members benefit from supplemental medical and liability insurance on club rides. The club donates to and volunteers with organizations that support cycling as a healthy, fun and safe lifestyle. TCBC welcomes bike riders of all races, cultures and abilities.

Note that many more riders will be attending TCBC rides than are shown as attendees on Meetup.  Check the TCBC Ride Calendar at https://www.biketcbc.org/ride-calendar/ for a list of additional attendees.  You will also be able to pre-register for rides there.

Please note that in order to participate, you will need to be a member of TCBC. Nonmembers are welcome to ride with us once for free, but then you need to join the club to continue riding with us.  Want to try out the club?  Sign up online for our temporary 30-day membership for only $10.  Our yearly membership is also a great deal at $30/individual and $45/household.  For more information, go to biketcbc.org and join. https://biketcbc.org/become-a-member/

TCBC Ride Leaders may post selected rides on our Meetup group; the complete Ride Calendar is at https://www.biketcbc.org/ride-calendar/
