Del Rio Pond & Verde Village Riparian Preserve, Wednesday Nov 20th 9-11:30 AM. We’ll meet at the duck pond on E. Del Rio Dr off of Hwy 260 (GPS 34.7007820, -111.9835430). Join me for a relaxing walk before the holiday busyness. We’ll get some fresh air and light exercise by walking about a mile or so on the trail in the Verde River riparian preserve after checking out the pond with a scope (stationary, picnic table, bring a warm beverage if you’d like). This beloved pond will not exist much longer- see it while you can. It is a regular Wood Duck hangout and many other ducks are likely. There is not a restroom here so please make a stop somewhere on the way. Heather will lead. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
