**Rainbow Spirit is a relaxed , welcoming group for gay men. We meet on a Saturday afternoon once a month . Come along, meet other gay men and make new friends.**

Our next meeting is on Saturday 16th November from 3.00-5.30 pm in the LGBT Centre in Birmingham.

The first part of our meeting is entitled Desert Island choices. Imagine you have been cast away on a desert island. You can choose one piece of music and one book to take with you.

Share with us your chosen piece of music. You do not need to play it, just talk about it. Describe it and why it means so much to you. It may relate to something, someone or an occasion that brings fond memories or is of significance to you. Or it could be something uplifting,music that helps you through the hardest times, which could be relevant whilst you are abandoned on the island. Provide information and history about it, its composer and musician.

Following on from that, choose a book that you would take with you. You will find the Complete Works of Shakespeare and a copy of the bible, or a book appropriate to your beliefs, already on the island . The book you choose could be something you've always wanted to read, a lengthy classic to while away the hours, a book you have always loved or something to make you laugh. Tell us a bit about it and the author and why you have chosen it.

After the break, Andrew, who is one our members, will be leading some fun activities to get us moving!

We do hope you will be able to join us, we are a friendly bunch and this is an ideal way to meet other gay men in informal surroundings.
