Henry's Blueshouse / Dirty Stopouts Launch Party

We're going to check out the launch event for the new book Dirty Stopouts Guide to 1980s Birmingham. The book is a guide to the nightlife that led to the rise of many of the great rock bands in Birmingham's rich history. It kicks off at 6.45 at the new Snobs which is now home to Henry's Blueshouse.

There will be numerous guest speakers, a Q&A, a performance by the Chinese dance collective Shanghai Sisters, before the night closes with The Shufflepack, a band that specialise in 1950s Chicago Blues. The Shufflepack set is due to begin at 8.

We've done a lot of blues events lately but this one seemed a bit different so we thought we'd go along. See you there!
