In our doula communities, intergenerational sharing and mentorship plays an important role.
Our groups will have meetups in various locations, and we also welcome Community Builders to join us in hosting! We're always exploring ways we can be #strongertogether in serving our communities.
We host networking events, host guest speakers, offer skill shares and other ways of supporting the growth of a diverse and thriving community of workers who make care in our country safer, supported and equitable.
Okkanti is an organization that is sowing seeds of collaboration and nurturing the spirit of the collective while helping birthworkers to build their own successful practices. We aim to build access to support systems for all pregnant people by supporting doulas and other care professionals who serve their communities.
