Jackie is probably best known for sharing her story of reaching F.I.R.E. (Financial Independence, Retire Early) in her 40s making less than six figures. Even with a late start, she was able officially retire from her corporate job in 2019 at the age of 49.

Jackie is author of the award winning book "Money Letters 2 my Daughter" (https://a.co/d/hQEFvhm (https://a.co/d/hQEFvhm)) and just released her new book “F.I.R.E. for Dummies” in 2024 (https://a.co/d/1zy82io (https://a.co/d/1zy82io)) with Wiley Publishing. The book is a step by step guide for reaching financial independence and creating the option to retire early.

She co-hosts the fast growing podcast “Catching Up to FI'' which focuses on those getting a late start to their journey to financial independence.
Her story has been featured on The Rachael Ray Show, CNBC, Market Watch, The New York Times, Forbes and many other major media platforms.

Jackie holds the Certified Financial Planner® and Accredited Financial Counselor® credentials, and earned her master’s degree in financial planning & financial therapy from Kansas State University. She has one adult daughter (Amber) who is well on her way to second generation FI!
